I know, but since you get 55-60 from spear attacks and 25-30 from pets i figure thats acceptable enough. Better to have 2 distinct attack units and the benefit of a meat shield in my view.

You'd get near enough 80 by dropping the pet and adding an Asuran ranged summon instead. I dropped my 3 BM skills and only added the summon so you could better that figure although that will propably not be acceptable either

However its getting away from the point that an 80dps prep turrent has "more DPS than any other attacking class."

i dun rlly like all the chnages u wanna make...but rangers definately need an update x.x my main baby is ranger and i love her to death and everything but the rangers skills today are bad...especially pet's AI ...:/ Listen to our call Anet!!

I completely agree as well. Rangers have been neglected and it's a class in GW2. Get with it Anet!

I personally don't want these changes necessarily either. I mostly did this out of boredom and because I would like to see the ranger changed to make it more interesting and I say that because I have had a ranger for close to 6 years. ANet cant read this forum due to legal issues so its all for fun.

I'd be happy with faster casting times on traps and spirits. As they exist right now they're rarely if ever used in pve. It wouldn't even be that big of a change, just keeping them in line with what rits can already do now.

yeah here ur right... rangers should realy become a very fyn and interesting class. some ideas were awesome tho...especailly about the pets. they need most changes
